Maurice “Mo” Neal is the owner and founder of Yani Made It… Handcrafted Candle Company - a Black-owned, family-run business based in the California Bay Area.

Born and raised in Oakland, Mo holds his native city close to his heart. His love for Oakland, a place of creatives, civil rights leaders, and sports legends, is a major source of inspiration for his work.

Mo grew up in East Oakland and attended some of the best public schools in the area, experiences that informed his understanding of community importance. He is dedicated to leaving spaces better than he found them. 

"Our candle-making workshop offers each of your participants an engaging, step-by-step experience that guides them through the process of candle-making using our premium candle-making supplies. Empowering participants to discover the ease and satisfaction of hands-on creativity."

For mobile workshops, there is a travel/service fee range of $50-$300, which will be assessed and added to the booking, depending on travel cost, group size and parking fees. This will be charged after the initial booking payment is received.

Please keep in mind that candles will need 24 hours to cure. All candles will be shipped 7-10 business days after workshop.
